CDTI 2

On October 30 will be held the day "The Spanish industry in Large Scientific Facilities of particle physics, fusion and astronomy - challenges and opportunities", organized by CDTI in the auditorium of its own facilities with morning hours. In order to achieve their scientific objectives, large international scientific facilities require working with technologically specialized suppliers in what is known as the science industry sector, or Big Science. This sector constitutes an emerging market whose contracting opportunities for the industry in the coming years (2020-2024) are valued at more than € 38,000 million.

The objective of the day is to present the challenges and opportunities for the industry as a supplier of the main research infrastructures in particle physics, fusion and astronomy in the coming years. In addition, the Big Science Business Forum 2020 will be presented to the Spanish business sector, the second edition of a business forum that will gather the main European research infrastructures in Granada in October 2020 with the aim of promoting the industry's business as a provider of such infrastructure.

The conference will also include the participation of representatives of CERN, ESS, F4E, IFMIF-DONES, ESO and SKA.
